In the spring of 2023, the Ambassador Duck Club Board of Directors decided to use PMG, a contractor that used a Marsh Master®, to assess the Marsh Master's® effectiveness as a management tool for habitat and water management at the club.  That proved to be a success.  The Board gave a presentation on the success of the Marsh Master® during the September 2023 member meeting. During that meeting, the members voted to put a deposit down to purchase our own Marsh Master®. 

 

Board members visited the Marsh Master® manufacturing facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in December 2023.  They were nothing short of impressed with the facility's manufacturing process. Please see the photos of the manufacturing process below.

A member meeting was conducted March 2, 2024, at the Murray Library where members voted to purchase the Marsh Master®.  This was a historic meeting where we had 96 out of 100 shares represented.  The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of purchasing the Marsh Master®.  This machine will allow us to not only manage wetland habitat vegetation but will also allow us to better manage water.
