Ambassador Duck Club
About Ambassador Duck Club
The Ambassador Duck Club is located in the diverse Great Salt Lake ecosystem. This ecosystem is an imperative resource for waterfowl from all around the region, as 10 million waterfowl and shorebirds migrate through this area every year. Our club is dedicated to enhancing wildlife habitat and hunting opportunities.

R.L. Irvine purchased most of the present-day Ambassador Duck Club for back taxes in the late 1930s. The Irvine's used the ranch as a get-a-way and raised many different kinds of animals as a family hobby. They also hunted ducks on the east side of the property and leased the west side of the property to a group of gentlemen from the Ambassador Athletic Club. In 1951, several members of the athletic club purchased the 2,319-acre ranch and named it the Ambassador Duck Club. In 1991, an additional 160 acres were purchased, bringing the total acres to 2479. Today, the Ambassador Duck Club remains a premiere waterfowl hunting destination for its valued members and lessees.
